Valentine's Day Makeup I

Welcome back gorgeous!

Valentine's Day is two days away and even if you are single, you can dress up, get your makeup done and go have fun. If you are in a relationship, I can still give you an idea of what makeup look you can do for your date.

Today's makeup look is a smoked-out-winged liner with red lips. The sexy makeup look.

STEPS:

1. Create a thin winged eyeliner with gel liner (so that you can smudge it out)

2. Using black eyeshadow on an angled brush (the ones to create wingliners) start difusing the edges of the eyeliner. CAREFUL not to apply too much eyeshadow at first, otherwise you can mess it up. Start light and as you blend it, apply more eyeshadow.

3. Repeat the previous step until you are happy with the result. In my opinion, it is better not to create a very thick eyeliner, because it might end up like Amy Winehouse's.

4. Apply mascara (and lashes if you want).

5. Highlight your brow bone with a shimmery eyeshadow.

7. For this look, you want to go for a flawless face. Therefore, take care of your skin first. What does it need? Large pores : pore-filling primer (I recommend the Porefessional Primer by Benefit). Hidration : moisturizing primer (or just a moisturizing cream). Oil control : mattifying primer.

8. Apply a medium to full coverage foundation with a damp sponge (for more coverage, while the fact that the sponge is damp gives more of a natural finish to the foundation).

9. Conceal your troubled areas and set them with powder.

10. Contour your cheekbones (don't be afraid to go a little hard on it, like a said, we are going for a flawless face), bridge of your nose, forehead and jawline.

11. Apply some bronzer on top (and a bit higher) of your cheekbones' contour and forehead.

12. Blush is optional. If you want to apply, choose a peach/orange tone.

13. Highlight time! Go for a champagne or golden highlighter, and apply it on the high points of your cheeks, middle of the forehead (you might have felt like you were too matte until this moment, but highlighting this part will bring back the natural look to your skin) and tip of the nose.

14. To finish the eyes, with whatever is left on the angled brush you have previously used, run it along your lower lashline, focusing the product on the outer corner. Just remember that the main thing should be the winged eyeliner, that's why I'm not telling you to apply a lot of eyeshadow.

15. You can start by lining your lips with lip liner or go straight to the red lipstick.

16. Set everything with makeup setting spray.

That's it! Happy Valentine's Day!

xoxo
