PLUM GLAM SMOKEY EYE

Welcome back! It's been a while since I last did a tutorial and I'm so glad to be back.
Last friday night I wanted to do a smokey eye but with a twist. Then, I remembered purple goes really well with brown eyes (actually, it brings up any eye colour); so I came up with this look:

If you liked it, here's how to recreate it:
1. Create a base for the eyeshadows by applying concealer or eyeshadow primer
2. Apply a purple shade on your crease (I know, we're not setting the base down. This is because I've been watching a lot of beauty gurus who have stopped doing it and said their eyeshadows are more pigmented and it's easy to blend. Be careful, but trust me, it's way better). Blend, then apply again and repeat until it looks nice and pigmented. Try to blend it as high as possible and as low as possible. BRUSH: tapered.
3. With a deep plum shade, cover your eyelids and blend it with the previous eyeshadow. For this step, you'll probably have to pack a lot of eyeshadow until it looks good, so take your time blending. That's the key of every smokey eye. BRUSH: flat (and the tapered one to blend the edges)
4. With a liner brush, apply black eyeshadow along the lashline, just to darken everything a little more. This has to be seemless.
5. Apply eyeliner on your lashline (with or without false lashes, this step is super important, as it ties up the whole look). RECOMMENDATION: use gel eyeliner or a pencil.
6. To highlight the inner corner, apply an iredescent glitter. If you don't want to use glitter, try a pink-ish highlighter to match the purple tones.
7. Apply mascara, and lashes if you will
8. As for the lower lashline, blend in the purple shade you used on your crease. BRUSH: small and flat
9. To finish, apply the deep plum shade on the outer lower lashline, connecting it to the upper eye. Then, blend it to the purple one. BRUSH: eyeliner / flat.
10. Recommendations for the face makeup: make it more about the bronzer and use a subtle blush. As for the highlight, again go for a pink-ish one just to match the purple tones. Finally, for the lips, go for a nude lipstick and gloss if you like.

That's it! Hope you liked it.
